G'Day,

0°/11°C today, gray, occasional rain... ghastly...
GF took the car, taking MIL to the therapy, then off to the office...
me straight to my workplace... while entering the front door, the boss flew by, off to whatever he's doing during the day ;)
He had left the car out there, key in, idling... for a moment I was tempted hiding it somewhere...

Nothing earth-shattering happening here, at the office that is, the other topics around (like price increase on coffee currently +72%) would trip the censor-sensor... soooo...

have a good one anyway!

good morning all. 57F on the dog walk with little clouds, bunch of stars and a bright moon that made for an enjoyable walk. got up early this morning and might as well start the day. but then it is only 0220 so I think I'll try to back to sleep. I believe the high this afternoon should get up around 83F. enjoy the day.

stay safe

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the start, Martin.

Last Thursday, when it reached 85, I predicted another frost and here we are. It’s 36, feels like 29 due to a healthy breeze. High of 50.

Yesterday was busy. Had Teddy allergy tested, stopped by Tractor Supply for 10 lbs of dog biscuits, then came home and sprayed weed killer on the lawn to get rid of the invasive Ajuga weeds. Worse than dandelions, when it comes to taking over a lawn, yet the same garden center that sells the spray also sells the plants as ground cover for $6.98 each. I figure I killed hundreds of dollars worth.

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Martin.

Winter's back. Wet and snowy and cold and windy are the weather qualifiers for today. It's supposed to be snowing at the moment, but it looks more like a messy mix of rain and wet snow to me. Forecast says "scattered flurries" for the rest of the day. I guess we're getting off easy - Atlantic Canada's supposed to be getting 10+ cm from this storm. Ontario's getting hit too.
Right now, it's 1°C/34°F with a feels-like of -5°C/23°F and the temp will inch up one measly degree, but the windchill will drop a little. All in all, a good day for staying indoors. Unless you're me, in which case you'll have to venture out in it to get to the clinic in a couple of hours. Hopefully, there won't be a lot of snow on the ground by then.

Everyone have a great day, stay dry, stay warm, stay safe and go safely.

Guten morgen alles

Danke für ze kaffee Martin. I've now used up about 99 percent of what little remains of my originally paltry store of two years of secondary school German, so I'll do the rest of this in my native language.

It's a cloudy, very chilly 35°F in Rockville, made to feel more like 12 thanks to a 15+ mph NW wind that gusts into the mid-20s, which has set the treetops twisting, bending, and swaying like one of those attention-grabbing wavy-in-the-air things you see sometimes outside of businesses. 43 is the expected high, and the wind will build slightly in strength until the early afternoon, hold there for a few hours, and finally taper off by the wee hours of tomorrow morning.

The golf lesson I had scheduled for this afternoon got pushed into next week: neither the pro nor I had any interest in being outdoors under today's conditions if it could be avoided. Mrs. Fun and I still intend to attend an event at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador this evening; it'll be indoors so all is good on that front. Before that happens, another landscaping contractor is due to come by this morning to look at our proposed fence / retaining wall project so he can prepare an estimate.

Of course, uke practice can fill in much of the remaining unclaimed time.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, because tomorrow may be too late.

Thx Martin!

8˚c/46f, grey, drizzle, almost calm.

Been for a walk, forgot to take a picture, it’s alzheimers, I’m shure.

Cooking, then starting to collect all tools necessary for my upcoming trip to Oslo.

There must be a pfffft! somewhere in between all this.

Have a good one!

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's foggy/cloudy and 36, becoming partly cloudy and rising to 40, later.

Yesterday's rain is gone for a while, and I did make it to the gym.
We also got some range time in, and visited with our son and his family, afterward.
Elouise is a talkative and rambunctus almost-2-year-old, and her little brother is only about a month away from being born.
They made a sausage/sweet potato/pepper bake that was tasty, and Brenda wants to try it at home.

Today, I'll head to the gym, again, and try not to hurt my knee again during my exercises.
Brenda will go candlepin bowling again, this evening, so we'll negotiate dinner, before.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Back from tornado country to a high of 53* today. I'll take that over humid winds of death. Our sump pump outside in the pit is having some trouble this morning and we need the plumber to run a camera down the guest house sewer line. Homeownership can be overrated.

You cats be safe and schedule your preventative maintenance.

Good morning ! Mother Nature certainly is very cruel ,dumped at least 2 inches of white fluffy stuff last night here on the shore of Lake Erie . Seems that she needed to remind me of who is really in charge . I had 3 of my antique cars out last week and the St out for a short 150 km ride along the shore roads . Wife's Mustang is outside under the cover and now covered in some form of hard water . Any way have a great day ,ride safe and take care EH !

Good morning all
Thanks for the hot start Martin.

This works well mix only at the time of use.

We got the same storm several other Canucksville residents have reported.

We’re headed out to play in it about lunch time.
16/28 F with a NW blow to create nasty windchills!
Enjoy your Tuesday.

Quick out the door for me today. 40F/4.5C and windy! Not much to report nor look forward to except maybe some lunchtime volleyball. I did get the El cheapo Apple IIe working. Had to procure another PSU for it but it boots and the disk drive works. Anything else today will be gravy I guess. Take care y'all!

Morning, Need more coffee! And Sleep. Feeling tired this morning, Windy and raining feels like winter outside, which is going to make garbage day nasty. Other than garage duty no plans, eating and napping sounds like a good idea though. Might spend some time in Tractor shop organizing toolbox's and clutter around them. We will see, okay have a good day Y'all,G

Morning all! Grey and wet again. Currently 6C, the high will be 12C.

So far just one meeting on the work calendar. I'll stop commenting there lest I annoy the Work Gods and suddenly get inundated. In the meantime, I will wrestle with the concepts of who owns "float" on a construction project and what are reasonable uses of said concept.

Hope everyone has a great day and hope does float, what ever your boat!
