It's Fryday! The Coffee is on!

Hugs, schmugs. Ta me duck. I need a coffee.
Er'Indoors got off to Jumpy Up and Down Class at Berwick-upon-the-Tweed a while ago and is now back enjoying a cup of bean juice. Although the flat tyre on er motor wasn't the ideal start to the day.
I've been painting and once the bean juice hits home I'll get that darn wheel off. Blummin hedge cutting farmer b......s. 4 months and counting. B......s.
:box1:.
More painting and tyre fixing will fill this day of love. I might try and find a farmer and hug him really tight.....

Av a gud un and remember, stop cutting ya f'in hedges.
B......s.

Good morning, all. Thanks for the coffee this morning, Dave.

Brrrr…22, feels like 17, and only going to 44. Rain coming tomorrow, with 5-6” expected, so I believe I’ll pick up some extra groceries today, before things get soggy for the weekend.

John

Thx for coffee, funnies and hugs Dave!
Way to start the day.

Just above freezing, was sunny, now clouds are building up, a breeze.

Usual Friday routine disrupted as I have to pick up Peter in the kindergarten.
His parents will bring us Fridayfood when they pick him up later. It’s nice.

Theeeeen there will be a glass of wine.
Call it two.
Ok, three then.
Stop counting!

Happy Friday and take care if you expect foul weather, or busy farmers!

Thank you Dave. Happy Valentine's Day. So far I've found 4 cards from Womantriker. It's 56° and very cloudy, going to remain cloudy and may get to 61°. I'll be working an apartment sale this morning. Womantriker and I are going to get married again this afternoon. Hopefully this will be the last one. Three times is a charm, right? Ciao.

Morning et al, and thanks Dave, for the coffee.

-10/-15 and only a few wisps of clouds. The moon is out too, but it's not pink. Headed to -7/-16 and likely seeing red, but in a good way.

Happy VD to any of you who celebate it. I'm sure some of you have a heart on. :shrug2:

Our storm passed, with us getting mostly ice pellets. Was out snow blowing in it last evening. Not fun, but not the worst. I guess it was the best outcome, with no real freezing rain and since it was ice, it kept the fluffiness to a minimum. Power stayed on with only a bit of flickering, but the plows and wrecking trucks were busy. Lots of folks in the ditches on my commute home form work (they closed early due to the rapidly declining weather, that was already poor to start with.) I'll give it a 3/10 overall.

Lots to do today, likely because I've done nothing all week. Get it all done, when you're really busy, and you're a hero. All about angles and spin. Wait, no politics here....

Everyone have a great day and avoids any gui-tar riffs.

Good morning, Thanks for the comics and coffee Dave , enjoyed the puns. Should go back to bed but mind hamsters are making too much noise,3 am for me. Slept good so far, doesn't matter no need to set a alarm clock today. Motomac ,three is a good number, and congratulations, and best advice I was given by a friend that had been happily married for 50 years was "Yes Dear". G

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Dave. 51F on the dog walk with some clouds and a full moon to enjoy. I have a doctors appointment this morning so that kills most of the day. the high should see 69F so the afternoon will be nice. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee and funnies, Dave.

It's clear and 24, rising to 30 with 20-30 mph winds.

I did the gym thing, yesterday, after shoveling the slop off of the walk and driveway.

Today, I'll head up to the local ski area for a few hours of skiing.
I won't be able to go next week, because of school vacations, and my pass has black-out days, then.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Thank you Dave. Happy Valentine's Day.

Good morning all!
Dave, thanks for the Valentines start, funnies & Java!

Motomac, may you & Womantriker live happily ever after!
May all your problems be little ones…

Enjoy this day & remember what Keith says when he signs off!
64/78F with a decent NE breeze to cool us!

That’s all I’ve got, no flat tires either!

Around his throat. Pffffffftttttt.
Heh I'm gonna remember that one. Is hedge cutting the leading cause of throat hugs over there?

Pretty decent down here in SoMD this a.m., despite the furry legged princesses urgent need to go out before any of my alarms had a chance to go off. Maybe if I feed them less...and I'd save money too...and eventually they would stop waking me. Oh wait, that would be bad...would it?

Sitting at 31F/-0.5C and sunny yet blowy as I finish the first cup of the bean, thank you! A WFH day followed by an uncomfortably romantic dinner night out with the missus to show her still love her and all that. Tinkering will have to wait a day. Take care y'all!

Thanks for the coffee, Dave.

I don't know what you have against guitars. Any instrument can be played badly, but that's not the point. We all start at the beginning, no? Ask Keith. It just takes time to get good, and obviously some longer than others.

Too cold to ride; John gave y'all the weather preview, and while the temps here might be a tad higher, they're still not in the heat spectrum, and tomorrow night there are storm warnings and all. Let's just get February out of the way, ok? Tired of having to wear all these extra clothes. Kaiser doesn't mind it, but then he doesn't have to get dressed, either. He just gets up and goes, in the absolute "come as you are" fashion. He's such an animal.

Still, he looks better undressed than most of us, I dare say.

What took me to that line of thinking? Certainly wasn't Valentine's. I have to sign her card, and get on to work. Too many clothes, and I'm way past ready for March - April - May and beyond, but I suppose in the end, we'll still have to go through this whole crazy cycle yet again.

I hope we can all live that long. Despite my whining, I kinda like it here. We'll see eternity soon enough, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna be really different.

Peace, all.

Good morning all. Thanks for the dark roast and focaccia Dave. You guys keep baking up stuff I can't spell! Sorry for my absence drove home from Florida and hit an ice storm. Worst part was we got home, the Doberman and I and it was all ice. Doberman wiped out and wrecked his back. He's 13 so it's quite bad. I have been taking care of him since. People are so much easier to deal with, you can ignore them or shoot them whatever works. Otherwise it's good to be back in the frozen tundra.

Morning Dave & All from a cold, wet morning in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 34F, and heading for 42F with snow & rain in the forecast. Since it's as warm  as it is, the snow isn't sticking around, which means no snow blowing! The winds have been blowing from the SSW @ 6 to 18mph.

I never got back to cleaning the engine yesterday, I didn't feel like it, maybe today.

Chris and I will go for a late lunch, to avoid the crowds today. :bannana::broc1::cucumber1::grape1::strawberry1: :wine2:

Lazyman's breakfast. Pepsi(s) will be in my future.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Morning all.......

Thanks for the start up. Snow started early this morning. Not much falling. 26 going to maybe low 30s today.
Kinda liking our snow levels this winter. Just enough to make the ground white, but not enough to shovel.

@SupraSabre, Around here Napa is more expensive than O'REILLY'S. And yes they take used oil and batteries and such. We have a regional recycling plant in Spokane and they take all sorts of liquid waste and hazardous materials.

Happy VD. Go have a Saturday eve kinda day.

Morning (just) all! Sunny and 5C currently with a high of 6C predicted. It will be sunny with some cloud here and there for the rest of the day as well.

Working from home again which is good as the cough that appeared during Covid seems to want to hang on. I've tested again and it came back negative but something took a hold and just won't let go. The building inspector just left after doing the final inspection after the renos. Only two small things to be rectified and then we're good.

Hope everyone is having, or has had, a great day!
