I think I found how honda came up with the idea for a black ST1300

I know those cows....hope you enjoyed the ride today, I'm still stuck at work for a few more hours .
 
I believe you are on the right track.
But it not a black cow they had in mind.
More like a Black Stallion.
It's also where the ST comes from.
