This is at my local Honda dealership (Redline Motorsports). I’ve had an interest in one for the past few years and I know one member here has one as his primary bike. I wanted to try it for size for me. I do like the ergos except I’d likely have to get lowered pegs (and the seat isn’t OEM I don’t think, so you’re only in one position fore/aft when sitting on the bike). I can flat foot the bike which I like as well. I had taken the Silverwing out yesterday and on the way home stopped in at the dealership to look at it. Looks pretty near new to be honest and comes with the Honda trunk. My only issue (and a minor one) is that it’s a tall bike so you really have to throw your leg over to get on. This one appears to have a center stand (originally I didn’t see it in the pics). I didn’t ride it, just asked if I could sit on it (I assume in most cases if you want to ride it, they’ll expect you to buy it). I don’t know the mileage as they don’t have it listed and I didn’t have a key to check. If it’s got low mileage and it is a DCT bike, it might be good for someone (I was considering it, but had to walk away- not done with my bikes by a long stretch and I don’t have the room at home for another bike).

EDIT: I looked closely at the exhaust. That’s a Delkevic muffler on there. A short one but a Delkevic

I own a 2013 NC700X, and I really like the bike- it's easy to work on, handles VERY well, and it's big enough to tour on, yet small enough to not seem like a behemoth in close quarters traffic. I love the frunk ( front trunk where the gas tank SHOULD be!).
To echo @Erdoc's comments above, it is kinda tall, and does take a bit of effort to throw a leg over, and on my particular bike , with Givi Trekker aluminum panniers, care must be taken not to hit your right knee when throwing a leg over. ( DAMHIK). Of course, it is not as comfy as a heavier bike for long distances, but for medium distance, it is quite a nice ride. The 70+ MPG is quite nice also!
Yes, it has a chain, but an automatic oiler can make that a pretty easy thing to live with- I have not had to adjust my chain yet, and I have put 6000 miles on it so far. I do clean it every once in a while ( usually once a year), but in general, I just refill the oiler reservoir and ride.

I did notice in the pictures of this particular bike, the exhaust ( muffler/silencer) has been replaced- I'd look it over carefully if considering it, to make sure no "Ricky Racer" wannabe had it before trading it in.

I like my NC700X, and it really complements the ST1300 nicely.
 
aftermarket seat, exhaust , windshield, has ram phone mount, heated grips, acc rack and trunk, I don't see a centerstand. Seems like a fair price

For model years 21-24 they lowered the bike about 1 1/2" and upgraded a bunch of stuff. More power, led lights, 4 riding modes etc

I have this same model, 21 DCT as my daily driver. I've put 55,300 miles on it. Been a really good bike.
 
Tall bike? I bought mine because it is so low (2021). My inseam is somewhat south of 29". Check the springs on that used, modified bike.
 
They have that listed as a "dual sport".
That is not a dual sport. It's a naked bike at best. You could not take that thing on a trail.
I wish the manufacturers would stop marketing bikes of what they actually are.

It doesn't matter really I spose but Honda place it in the "Adventure" category along with the 500, TA and AT.
It's just marketing, but it can't be classed as a naked either, cus it ain't.
Most "Adventure" bikes spend all their time on tarmac just like SUV's.

I loved my '21. Only sold it because a friend talked me out of it. That is a reasonable price if they don't whack you with too many fees. Yes it is a street bike but plenty of people take then on trails and they do fine. I had mine on a dirt "road" with grass growing between the 2 tire tracks and it was a blast. The seat height is very low on the '21 and up, shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Can't go wrong with one.

I'll have to remember that the next time I'm 20 miles down a trail on my NC700X with 20 to go until pavement.

That's more of a trail than I am willing to ride on mine lol
 
I was looking up the NC750 x dct just yesterday. My clutch hand has been cramping up more and more lately (71 yo), even on my '06 V-Strom 650 with half the effort. The improved 2025 model (review) looks like a winner. I may buy one if/when they show up stateside.
 
Just got in from my 21st ride of the year on my 21 750 DCT. Love it more every time I ride it. So easy, so fun.

Good review on the 2025, but no price listed- no doubt will be higher than it is now but likely another $1K or so with the TFT display and dual discs up front. I could be wrong, but probably not.
 
Lol. That's a graded road, not a trail.
Those are two different bikes at two different places. My 2013 is on Kinsey Mountain Hwy, TN. Kinsey Hwy is a rock and gravel road about 20 miles long crossing Robinson Gap between Archville and north of Ducktown with an elevation change of about 3400'. Most of it hasn't been maintained in decades and much of it is washed out although the ends off of TN30 and TN68 are maintained for the residents that live in the area. My 2015 is pictured on N River Rd which climbs 16 miles up from Bald River Falls to the Cherohala Skyway. The north end of it that year was deep gravel and muddy sections, mostly washed out in the hollows at the northwest end. DCT does great keeping traction going in the muddy uphill sections. Honda categorizes the NC700/750X as an Adventure Bike, not a dual sport, and the three I have owned have been off road many times in the 13 years I've owned three. No, not in deep sand or knotted single track but off pavement on dirt and gravel.

Yes adventure bike I agree with. I has a suzuki 650 adventurer tourer. Handled like crap on rocky roads.
