Just purchased a 2005 st1300 from a snowmobile dealer ended up the slave cylinder was leaking so I got a really good price 20 bucks and 4 hours, all is good bike has 29000 miles beautiful condition. Main ride is a 2008 gl1800 im 64 years young and still enjoy a good ride

So far I've refilled rear preload,pulled forks dumped refilled with10 weight belray at 120mm from top added 6mm more shim and changed all fluids. Ride is a lot smoother. Got to be careful this thing will try to throw you off the back in lower gears ha lot of fun.

Welcome, the slave cylinder is a tight one to get out and now you have positive equity in a motorcycle! Well done. My 2005 has 106,000 miles on it and has only needed: the slave cylinder rebuilt, fork seals, oil changes, brakes and tires. (oh, and i replaced the ecu, but the old one worked just trigger the F1 light) There are some here with over 300K on their ST1300's, it's a hard bike to wear out
