Helibars install

Yes. All else is the same.

I take it that these are a special bolt. I sent an email to Helibars giving them the model number I have and asking if I could get the bolts from them, but have not heard back yet... Or can I just get them from my local ACE Hardware store? Looks like they are just shoulder bolts. I am not going to remove the bars until I have all the hardware to mount the new unit. Still want to ride the bike.

You can get these metric bolts at any fastener house - check around in a nearby big city (is there one near you?). I've found Fastenall to be very expensive compared to smaller businesses that focus on service.

Just for those who may have questions about this model Helibars Riser in the future.... The response I got from Helibars is "All stock Bolts are used".... No special longer bolts are necessary. +
Below is Helibars response to my questions....

All stock hardware is used. Attached are the original instructions.

There are only two 8mm bolts that hold the riser to the triple tree. Do those need to be longer or can I use the stock bolts? I understand that I can use the stock bolts that hold the bars in place.

Bill there should have been only 2 bolts holding the cover to the riser. Stock bolts are utilized for installation of the riser to the top triple tree.
