Hey thanks - somehow I clicked on the alerts and saw this. Just enjoying my birthday gift from some guy named Dan - a pretty new KLR 650, only 16 years old! Of course I'll figure out how to mount some winter gear like hand mits and trying something new, the European style lap skirt for keeping feet and legs warmer. Maybe I can make it out one cold winter day on the icy gravel road on something weighing less than 500 lbs. It's on my to do to make it back to SE MN with the ST/sidecar. Heck, maybe I'll retire early?
