Good morning, rise and shine!
If you’re the moon, then set and unshine.

There’s something with a full moon and me, I get unsettled, don’t sleep well.
I’m probably a lunatic.
But I serve you coffee, so there’s that.

Todays brand is Evergood classic, whole beans grounded by the lunatic himselves. It’s good.
Kneipp bread with brown goat cheese to go.

Unsupervised until late.
A long walk.
A bicycle trip to shop for sausages.

Around freezing, sunny and calm, this is very strange.

@Peppermint Hope things work out for you! You’re in our thoughts.

Have a good one!
Stu

"If it doubts, brew more coffee"

Full moon?
Instantly reminds me at a song by the famous Gerry Rafferty:

Sleep sleepwalkin', deep sleep talkin', reelin' and rockin', wailin' at the moon... ;)

Brilliant tracks like this always brighten my start into the day... instantly...

Vienna -1°/1°C, dark overcast, occasional snow sprinkles (hence the numb-nuts have their fog-taillights on...) ...

Nespresso and Nescafé long gone... a slight growl of my stomach indicates that I'm looking forward to my lunch-break... :o-o:
Might suck on a Werther's Original for now...

Off designing more VRF systems...

Don't get moonstruck... pay attention on the road ahead...

Ay up, ta me duck. Why's that cheese brown! Weird?
We're gloomy, no not us the darn weather. I suspect the sun has gone for good and been replaced by grey. I blame the socialists. And on that note.....
Thanks for the tax rises you bunch of ..... , I know you'll spend the money wisely. Maybe on some transgender research or a new drop in centre for the nice people to use who can't be ..... to get out of bed in the morning. Or maybe another safe shooting up centre. Blummin socialists, pffffffftttttt.
I don't quite know what the day will bring along next, the chipped tooth wasn't on the cards but you never know do you.
Av a gud un and remember, if it takes your fancy become a transgenderist shooteruperist and there'll always be freebies. Meh.
Upt.

Why am I sitting staring at the sky, waiting for the moon to show, weird, I need a shave this morning.

Morning, bladder and Mind hamsters woke me up again, like at 2:00 am Pacific time. Too cold to go out and look at the moon, seems grown more hair this week than usual and understanding the dogs better! Ok going back to bed, mind you have a urge to howl for some reason, don't know why. Cheers Gerard

<nods head> Mr. Stu. <nods head> Everyone else. Good morning!

Thanks for the coffee and starting things up.

It's -20/-23 here and dark, headed to a sunny -7/-11. The end is coming tomorrow, as per the bright red and yellow warnings on the Weather Channel. Torrential snow, freezing rain, hail, rain, locusts, famine... no heat warnings though. Isn't weather fun?

Hope everyone's had a great day so far and that it only gets better!

Obo.

Mornin’, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Stu.

I woke up at 4:00, feeling much better since my Flu has moved on. Walked the dog, between rain showers, and absolutely no sign of a moon, although I must have felt it during my night of restless sleep.

Ark building weather. 40/56 today, with more rain. Yesterday’s 2.5” of rain caused a tree to uproot, giving our area a power outage for a couple of hours last evening, until the lines could be replaced. One TV station says between 4 to 8 inches possible by the weekend. I’ve heard that before. Sounds like something I would say.

good morning all, thanks for the coffee Stu. 43F on the dog walk. got to see the moon just before the clouds moved in to cover him up. so for now the moon is just a fuzzy spot. the high here should see 61F. I have gym class this morning so I will have to see what is in store for the afternoon. enjoy the day

stay safe

Maybe on some transgender research...
<snip>
Blummin socialists, pffffffftttttt.
Maybe this will calm you down...

:roflmao:

Meanwhile I indulge in luxury by pouring an after lunch Nescafé... <slurp!> :coffee:

And I don't need to shave, pushing 60 I'm allowed to look like a poppy seed roll...

cheers!

Isn't weather fun? Obo.
. Nope.
I'm just glad (you probably feel the same) I'm not Canadian.
Although you may at least get a summer.
I was last officially warm in September in Southern Italy.
Pffffffftttttti'ttttty Pffffffftttttt
And........I kid you nott'eth, I've just bought a new winter coat. A cheap one obviously because the socialist ........ have stolen my damn f'in money!

Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the funnies, hot start-n-hugs Dave!
Does it get any better?
Presently foggier than all get out! 64/88F with a SSE breeze to blow this crap somewhere else!
We’re on the road to Brooksville/Ridge Manor/ Springhill (FL) when I can see the road.
Enjoy your day, no matter how you try to mess it up!

Good morning all, and thanks for the wake-up, Stu.

Yes, that huge moon really was spectacular; I caught the last few minutes of it as it was setting this morning. It's a cold and windy today: -17°C/1°F with a feels-like of -26°C/-15°F right now, and it won't get much warmer. It will also be bright and sunny all day which, frankly, is just plain mean of them, considering what's coming. The impending huge storm will start making itself known at around 10 this evening, and will steadily bombard us with heavy and blowing snow and high winds until tomorrow night. Forecast says we could get about a foot and a half of snow by the time it's over. Sigh. Ech.

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement, they mean a lot. It's going to be a rough ride for a while, but I'll get there.

Everyone have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Stu.

It's 24/4 and partly cloudy, rising to 33/1. We'll see the snow start, later this afternoon.

The new blinds were installed, yesterday, and we spent the rest of the day admiring them.
No, really... we did nothing else!
I did make it further through the Tom Clancy book that I'm reading, and finally went to bed around 1:00am.

Today, I'll do something or other, and maybe finish the book.
Brenda was teasing me with the possibility of homemade Chili...

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, not much time to hangout on the forum this morning as I have a 9:00 am heart doctor appointment, probably just a waste of time. Sunny but cold this morning,-6 C , will have to start and defrost the car soon,1/4" thick ugh. Dang I miss the underground parking,ok talk later.G

Morning all! -1C/-5C right now, the high will be 2C/-1C with sun all day. Nary a moon in sight unless you count the yahoos who think it's funny. Actually don't, there's too many yahoos to coun Better ways to spend time mindlessly.....like doom scrolling.....

The moon was bright enough to light up the dog run when I took the dogs out for their last bit of business last night before bed. It was so bright that you had trouble seeing the stars around it. Mother Nature does a pretty impressive night light.

My wife is being released back into the wild from the hospital today. Breaking free from at least some members of the medical establishment should help speed her recovery. Some young peckerhead decided to mansplain her chronic pain condition to her and suggest that it might all be in her head. I've been practicing a very cutting and witty rant should said young peckerhead show his face. It's pretty good and will be available in bookstores near you soon. On the upside, her fracture seems to be healing nicely, granted we're only a week in, but she is up, moving around and appears to be back to being a force of nature. The dogs seem to have sensed a disturbance in the force.....

Hope everyone has a great day and shines on!
