Thx Dave, glad you’re up and running!

Yesterday brought me:

1: Another tick bite ( reward for wandering off the trail)
2: A working ECU, no more red light warning.
After a two minute job swapping the ecus, I rode like a maniac for two hours, no red light.
Exceeding 7000 rpms for quite a while.

Seems like they altered the mapping on the 2005 a bit. New one is less jerky at low speeds, smoother in general.
A nice fix for $250.
Will it last forever?
Will you?

House cleaning, shrimpshopping ( got a cling to it..), smiling.

10˚c/50f, calm, rain, grey

Have a good one, always be your self when riding, unless you’re a maniac, then always ride like a maniac.

Good Frydae Morn all!
I see youse are already caffinated and going strong!
Awesome brekkies @STinner - muchos thankos amigo.
Wait for meeeeeeee!

Yesterday's rain, grey skies, and coldish temps were a real drag.
Sort of a chill ya to the bone kinda day.

I did some painting on a backyard project in my shop.
Then my friend asked me to come over to watch him install a lower compression head on his Beta bike.
That was much more fun than painting!
Trials bikes are odd animals! Sort of a bike but not really made for riding.

Today will bring some more shop stuff as I try to get things done.
Yeah - I'm trying to beat the inevitable really Winter stuff.
So far, 49 F's on the tempometer - uuuhh more coffee please?

Y'all have a winderfilled day!

Ta me duck, have you just given me the "finger". Hmmmm, tasty, nail was a surprise.
Nice here in dear old blighty, Berwick-upon-the-Tweed was splendiferous and now the coffee is likewise. Sun's up and we may see 51. It'll do.
Someone said the sn word, stop it. They're getting excited about sn, I'll be happier if they shut up about the stuff. But that will mean gardening will be just a memory, so I best build on that memory after lunch.
Why don't you drop by if you're passing. We've got pork and apple pie, goats cheese and onion chutney cheesecake, a selection of cheeses and kalamata olive loaf.
You're welcome, but wipe your shoes.
Av a gud un and remember, wipe your shoes.
Pffffffftttttt.
Upt.

Now here's a thought......"Is the classic sport-touring motorcycle doomed to extinction"?

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the GMD and breakfast goodies Dave. My cardiologist told me to beware of carbs so I'll have to skip the sourdough but I can double up on the eggs and bacon. Would pureeing them and eating them from a turkey baster count as fuel injection?

It's 43°F and cloudy in Rockville, and damp thanks to the rain that began around 1500 hours yesterday and continued well into the night. We needed it, and more, so no complaint here. Clouds and a high around 55 are the forecast, along with a round of bad goof.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Dave! Glad you're feeling fit as a fiddle again! I'll um...pass on the 'digital' pumpkin pie, but thanks anyway! I have some pointed words for that bakery.

Looks like we'll have a mix of sun and clouds this morning, followed by mainly sunny conditions this afternoon. There's definitely an autumn nip in the air, though. The current temperature is -1°C/30°F with a feels-like of -3°C/27°F, and the high, which will be reached at around 1 p.m. by the look of it, will be 7°C/45°F with a windchill of 5°C/41°F. Not too bad, all in all.

Duty calls, so I must be off. Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning all and thanks for the coffee Dave.

I blame the gingers.

Nasty drive into work this morning in the NEW CAR. :) Currently -1C and freezing rain. There are ice stalactites everywhere, and the roads are nasty too. No salt or sand trucks out yet and the roads are bad in spots, the bridges frozen. Lots of accidents and some of the 2ndary and lesser roads are closed. I however, am at work. Likely a 12 hr day.

High today could reach a cloudy 5C.

Enjoy today, 'cause it's your present!

Obo.

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Dave.

It’s a cloudy, chilly start at 47 degrees. Clearing this afternoon, with a high of 59. Can’t complain.

Now here's a thought......"Is the classic sport-touring rider doomed to extinction"?

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Dave!
Here’s a HUGE hug!

@Nashcat
Yes, I believe that to be true!
I’m wondering what the next one hundred years will bring?
Dear ole Dad lived to 101! 1893 - 1994
He went from the horse & buggy era to the man on the moon! That was quite a change!

42/45 with occasional rain, NNE breeze 7-16 MPH
Enjoy your day!

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Nick

It's 24 and sunny above the high-thin clouds.
It'll rise to 56 and stay sunny.

I never painted, yesterday, but did get to the gym.
I also took the neighbor's dog out for a little under 5 mile walk in the Outback
Brenda worked later than normal, and we went over to the Chinese restaurant for dinner. It was music bingo night, and crowded, but we managed.

Today, I'll head over to the restaurant to check out his emergency exit door. The inspector said it takes too much force to open. I was joking that he needs some kind of spring to pre-load the door, so when the latch is pushed, it springs open...
I'll try for a gym visit, as well
Brenda's working a half-day, to finish some things, and continue training the new person.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

good morning all. thank you for the coffee Nick. 49F on the dog walk with a bright full moon and a fair amount of cloud cover, it was the stars turn to take the morning off.
got gym class and a doctors appointment today. after the Doc's visit maybe I can talk the wife into lunch somewhere. the high should see 75F today. enjoy the day

stay safe

If she doesn't want to go count me in. Although I don't want any biscuits and gravy.....or grits.
I'll get me shoes polished in anticipation.
I'm all excited, I think I've started to slobber a little.
I know......too much.
Where we goin fella.

Thanks for the coffee, Dave. I'm on my second cup.

Crawled out of bed and put five scant hours of troubled sleep behind me. I'm not sure why I binge-watch Forensic Files before going to bed, but it makes for some stressful dreams. Thankfully, I wasn't a victim of blunt force trauma while searching in vain for a bathroom.

The sun is busy chasing the long shadows away this morning and the temps are in the low 50's. Brutal cold, in other words.) I had plans to jump on the bike and head up to Blanco, TX, but I'm not sure I'm feeling it. The highs today will only be around 71. Brrrrrrrrr.

The final MotoGP race is this weekend. Sure will be a nail-biter.

Have a blessed day!

Happy Friyay, y'all! As I always say, good coffee prevents murder, so thanks for the joe! Got a little more rain yesterday here in SoMD, so played in the garage without getting anything done and did a little 3D printing (not bike related).

Today's plan is to get through the work day without pissing anyone off (too late, already did) so I can do what I want to for 2 days. And if the weather complies, maybe even go for a ride. Oh and I have to endure a snooty end-of-year banquet for the wife's horse-riding show season. At least theres a bar...cash bar, but a bar nonetheless. But that's tomorrow, I have a day to mentally prepare and hide the pointy things out of easy reach. Until then ride safe and take care y'all!

Morning Dave & All from a :wind1:, Southern Utah!

Currently we have a storm blowing in and it may drop us some rain, maybe some snow, maybe, just the wind! :shrug1:

It is 45F, heading for 47F. The winds are out of the S @ 9 to 27mph.

I didn't get a lot done yesterday, but we had a really nice dinner with our neighbors. Today, I'm not sure where it will take me, but with this wind, mostly inside, I'm sure!

Eggs, bacon (bits), toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) to come later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Morning all! Sunny with blue sky but chilly. It was 3C (37.4 for our southern neighbours) and the heated grips were not working. Have to get on that. The high will be 8C.

Looks like I might just have to turn around and head back home. The internet is out in our office which means we cannot connect to the network. How am I going to add my biological and technological distinctiveness to the work world? Currently hotspotting off my work cell but not sure how long that will last. Decisions decisions....not really. Will give it another half hour or so to see if the IT boffins can work their magic and if not, homeward ho!

Have to go have blood and saliva samples taken this afternoon for a study I am participating in; concussions/head injuries and development of dementia later in life. Thought it would be obvious there's a connection, at least using me as a subject, but i's must be dotted and t's crossed. It means a trip home and then back into the city and then home again if I choose to head home for work. Not a bad thing since I can take the bike. The study has involved playing numerous sessions on a program called Neurotracker. They put up 8 balls on the screen and then you have to track 4 of them while they bounce around the screen and then pick the right ones once they stop. As you get better, they increase the speed at which the balls ricochet around the screen. I've grown to hate it, same reason I quit playing video games, cannot stand not being good at something....arrested development :D

Hope everyone has a great day and finds a hotspot to hang out!

Good morning, Been a while since I have checked in for Coffee, thanks. Managed to get a few projects done. Replaced a failing speaker and broken speaker wires in the Dodge Van , all four now work. Went and saw Mom and my Sister over on Vancouver Island, trip went smoothly, no waiting for ferry's. Mom is in care home now ,nice room at the end of a hall so quite for her.
Wife needs to talk, see later G
