Friday twotwoth socialist coffee

Morning all! It's grey and wet here again. Currently 8C, which the weather network informs me actually feels like 4C. Rain is to last all day and then we get the high winds back.

Have to go get a brain MRI this morning thanks to a study I am taking part in; relationship between head injuries and dementia and whether a software game can help slow or reduce the onset. I've done one so far and do not recommend the experience. You're trapped in a metal tube with all sorts of loud banging noises for far too long. I'm not even allowed to nap while in there so I have to amuse myself with the contents of my mind. You're beginning to grasp the horror now aren't you?

Once that fun is over with it's on to work. No metal tube but lots of noise as people bang on. I can nap though. Need to build a Costanza desk though.

Obo, my condolences on your spawn related mechanical issues. I recall helping to fund some repairs for a vehicle that the child was strongly advised not to buy due to mechanical issues but......:shrug1:

Hope everyone has a great day and hangs ten while riding the tube!

Kjekt å høre fra en nordmann!
Ahh, bodde i Kristiansand i 14 år etter jeg dro sørover....

nahh, @Whisker Bill , that's not quite right. Stuff got left out in the translation as well. But being a Norwegian Viking from the north, our accent is....shall we say,,,a little different.

Morning Stoo & All from sunny and :wind1: (as always), Southern Utah!

Currently it is 58F, up from 29F and heading for 63F. WOW a Fall day, I'll have to enjoy it while I can... more work in the back yard! The winds are already blowing from the SSW @ 10 to 12mph. I'm sure they will be stronger later.

All this foreign language stuff. Heck, the only foreign language stuff I ever learned was Cobol, Fortran, & C (with a few variations.)

I rented a trencher yesterday in preparations for a water line & electrical to the sheds.

My tasks today and tomorrow will be to put the waterline in the trench, but I won't hook it up until Spring. And put down the conduit with wire to the tractor shed. And if I have time, wire up the shed for several outlets and a switch for the lights (connected to a couple of the outlets.)

Eggs, bacon, toast & a Pepsi (out of OJ in the hose and didn't feel like going out to the garage to get another).

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good morning Earthlings!
I come bearing gifts!
Frokostkaffe from a cooperative.
Sourdough bread with pickled herring, ribroll and plumjam.
It’s all very good aaaand healthy!
Grab and go, or stay.

-5˚c/23f, calm, sun will probably come up at some point. A snow blizzard tonight….maybe.

I drove Mrs Stu to work at 06:00.
Got home and got the first fire in the new stove going. Was told to expect some fumes first time, so I wanted those gone before Mrs Stu comes home from work. She’s the sensitive kind. (Is that a song?)

Yesterdays choir perfomance was ok, not nice.

House cleaning, shrimp and wine shopping. No walk today.

Have a good one!
(I really love Fridays!!)

Stu

From yesterdays walk…winterwonderland, unless you’re a bird.

That looks like a wholesome breakfast for real men.

I tried!
I knew the peach wouldn’t be correct, as I expected it to be a fish.
Not knowing what kind of fish, I just left it!

TGIF.

Thanks for the foreign Kaffe, Stu!

I've been peering into a computer screen all morning. Life was never meant to be this way. What happened to my boyhood dreams of hunting, fishing, and riding my dirtbike the rest of my life?

Now, I look into the mirror and wonder who the heck is looking back at me. I'm a teenager trapped in an old man's body. I wish it was the other way around.

I swear I can't find my mojo again today. I asked my wife if she stole it and she say no, but she really hopes I find it. I think she has plans.)

My programmer finally surfaced. He's somewhere in Ukraine. Not sure where. Still Kharkov? Who knows. Not sure when he will disappear again.

It's a lovely day out there I think. Perfect really. At least it looks that way out the window. Wait. There's a feral car that needs to be shot at. I'll be back................ Ok, I'm back. The Red Ryder didn't let me down. Stupid cat will be back tomorrow, though. At least it gives me something to do.

While I was out shooting at the cat I looked up and didn't see any missile trails. Maybe the Deep State is busy organizing transgender spelling bees or something and have gotten sidetracked.

People are going to start hoarding toilet paper again. It doesn't make much sense to me to try and wipe something I've already kissed good-bye so I'll be stocking up on beer instead.

Have a blessed day!

No. To hire an electrician to run a new breaker from the box would be too expensive. Besides, all I'll be running from the power will be a charger/maintainer to my tractor, so I don't loose my battery to the cold. So, for now, I'm just going to plug it into one of my outside outlets.

You lot have gone to the dogs, dog fish that is!
I got a call this afternoon that my Polaris side by side had been repaired under warranty, I unceremoniously dumped you lot to promptly retrieve it ASAP.
I came home to a house full, they were celebrating the sale of Miss Judy’s Woodstock house!
So, now we are almost ready to head south! That’s another days issue!

More snowbirds moving to Florida. Make sure you tell all the workmen how you did it up North. They love that.) Eh.
