Good morning Earthlings!
I come bearing gifts!
Frokostkaffe from a cooperative.
Sourdough bread with pickled herring, ribroll and plumjam.
It’s all very good aaaand healthy!
Grab and go, or stay.

-5˚c/23f, calm, sun will probably come up at some point. A snow blizzard tonight….maybe.

I drove Mrs Stu to work at 06:00.
Got home and got the first fire in the new stove going. Was told to expect some fumes first time, so I wanted those gone before Mrs Stu comes home from work. She’s the sensitive kind. (Is that a song?)

Yesterdays choir perfomance was ok, not nice.

House cleaning, shrimp and wine shopping. No walk today.

Have a good one!
(I really love Fridays!!)

Stu

From yesterdays walk…winterwonderland, unless you’re a bird.

Good Morning All!
Thanks Mr @STooRay for a most interesting brekkie!
It looks marvelous to me! *chomp*

The Messrs and Mmes Mindsters were at it again.
I slept but I think my brain was already working on today's projects.
I was worn out when I woke up - So it goes.

Hopefully I shall find the issue of my friend's JD tractor quickly - then we can go to lunch!
Lunch is a good thing - eh?

The '78 Wing received it's oil change yesterday.
No screw-on cartridge on that baby!
Today my lovely wife will assist with brake fluid change.
One of her favorite things next to nail guns.

Hmmm, I'd better get to studying them wiring diagrams...

Y'all have a winderfill day!

Sourdough bread with pickled herring...
...sounds a tad violent on an empty stomach... but as long as you don't crack up a can of Surströmming (which would probably warp & tint the monitors everywhere...)

3°C, light gray skies, gentle wind... no snow yet, possible freezing night temps over the weekend...

TGIF, office, low business, sorting folders, fixing snags...

Morning coffee plus 3in1 office sludge consumed, pressure is dropping, still 2 1/2 hours to go...

have a nice start into the weekend!

good morning all. thanks for the coffee and fixings @STooRay. 51F on the dog walk with a sky full of stars and a 1/2 moon. did not see any clouds, must have the morning off.

look like its time to bleed the ST's brake's. that will take a few days as I round up stuff to do it. no need to be in a hurry. I do have gym this morning so that gets me out to buy fresh brake fluid. DOT 4 type and anything else I may need. I must remember to make a list before I go out looking for supplies.
our high temp today should see 83F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Thanks Stoo, should be sterk enough. Pffffffftttttt. That feast looks way to healthy. Norwegians are weird.
I forgot Nicholas of the Tractors, the O rings, the blummin O rings, I think mine had three. Are they in the slots just so, start er up, pffffffftttttt. Boing.
I really like cartridge filters.
Just sayin.
Now the weather, it's approaching lunch time here I spose, or it will be after another coffee and typing this drivel. Oh yes, I digress. I find I do that more and more, what was I saying.
Presently feels like brrrrrrrr and stays brrrrrrrr, snow will start overnight and into tomorrow before it turns to rain, or so they say. It's definitely brrrrrrrr.
Today I've been stewin and bakin whilst Er'Indoors has been to more jumpy.
After lunch who knows, I spose I should march up and down the street with my snow shovel on my shoulder deflecting the flakes with aplomb.
Av a gud un and remember, Norwegians are weird. But not our Stoo, for a Norwegian he's OK.
Upt.
Boing.

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee, SToo.

6C headed to 8C. Rain. Lots of rain. 15mm today, 25mm tomorrow, 10mm Sunday. Could be worse.

Yesterday's car inspection was a fiasco. $2000. I ended up only paying $200 as they didn't have all the brake parts in stock. A dealer, without common brake pasts in stock? I also asked them to send me the quote to review. They said they couldn't for some reason I didn't understand until I went to pickup the car. The estimate was hand written, things crossed out and adjusted, totals didn't add up, random numbers, and just a price with a circle around it on the bottom saying "final." So much for going to the local dealer, which is why we always go out of town to our preferred dealer. Try to save a day off and 3 hours of driving just cost me more time in the big picture. Hey, I'm not getting any younger and while I can make more money, I can't make more time.

Speaking of time, there's only 32 days to Christmas.

Ho Ho,

Obo.

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee and Nordic comestibles, Stu!

Rain. Cloudy. Dark. Rain. More rain. Bleh. That pretty much sums up the forecast for all day today and all day tomorrow. Yep, trails are going to be soggy on Sunday.
We're just about at the day's high of 7°C/45°F with a feels-like of 2°C/36°F. Oh, and it's raining. Did I mention that?
No snow yet, but it looks like we'll start getting into some mixed precipitation and flurries next week. Though I doubt I'll be strolling around with a shovel over my shoulder; I think I'd be too tempted to hit someone over the head with it. And I have no idea how to deflect flakes with a plum.

Right. The horrible, horrible week is almost over, but there's a whole day left, so must brace for the onslaught. Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee and feast Stu.

It's 33°F in Cincinnati, cloudy, and feels like 26. There's a slight rime of snow, left behind by the shower yesterday evening. More could fall today but won't stick around, the high will be in the mid 40s.

The drive out yesterday was without incident or delay- the best kind. Weather was anything from mediocre to poor, but never really bad. I'm glad not to be making it today.

My cousin will take me to a Cincinnati Symphony matinee today, tunes from The Three Cornered Hat by Mozart are on the docket. Later, dinner with most or all the Cinci relatives is planned.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.
