Friday January 3rd Café.

Just after noon and 39°F here in SoMD. Except for Wednesday it's been a full work week for me, thankfully from home. No sense going in to the office if noone else is there either. Getting what work I can done at least.

Next week oughtta be interesting since they're calling for the first real snow here in three years. I should hit the store now but probably too late. Meanwhile, I have had 3 snowblowers for sale for months and nothing. And now? One hit...a douche that wanted a discount AND delivery. Eff that. Guess I'll be well prepped for the white stuff and the hero of my neighborhood, again.

No riding lately, but that nice 2005 for sale in east Iowa sure has me thinking of an unwise road trip. Take care y'all!

If you go, and depending on when that might be, I might be happy to tag along just for something to do and to facilitate a drive-and-ride for you. Since I'm in Rockville, it'd hardly even be out of your way...

Just looked out my window and I see a few small flakes already in the air here. I don't expect it to amount to much, but Monday could be interesting of the forecast is even close to reality.

Afternoon Ray & All from overcast Southern Utah!

Currently it is 60F, up from 29F and heading for a high of 57F.... once again the weather guessers were OFF! We have had winds from the WSW @ 15 to 19mph.

Well, I got my Car Insurance taken care of. I'm saving around $900 for the year. Can't do anything on the house yet, due to our little $3,000 flood back in April 2023. Seems the insurance companies are afraid of water entering a house, even as little as we had!

I went back to the Drs yesterday on my eye, I now have some antibiotic cream to rub on it, Hopefully this will take care of it.

The Christmas decorations are down and put away. Until next November, anyway! :thumb:

Breakfast & lunch are a thing of the past, I still might get a Pepsi in today! ;)

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

It's more a pipe dream for me, but if I were to buy a 1300, 2005 is the year I would get for the color. If somehow I do do more than dream (and $3k drops in my lap) I'll certainly entertain your offer.

We had a good snow squall blow through this afternoon. Coated the cars and grass. It immediately caused several accidents right in my town. I went to the post office and that's it. Wasn't gonna become a target bc of another driver's ineptitude.
