Morning all! Kicking Horse in the pot, just for @St-Gerard, but I'm sure he won't mind sharing!

Happy Birthday Martin @ST1100Y ! :birthday:

-6/-10 and dark, with some snow and freezing drizzle. -2/-7 for the high with clouds and perhaps a hint of Sun.

I may interview for a new job cleaning mirrors. I think I could really see myself doing that.

Hope you all have a great day!

Obo.

Hehe, thx Obo!

It’s 16˚c warmer than last week….
8˚c/46f, overcast, windy, 54mph later from east, wooleric.

Cleaning house, car.
Eating shrimps.
Drinking wine. One glass extra for Martin, happy birthday!
Two you say? Shure, ok.

Have a good one!
Stu

G'Day...

-2°/+4°C today, gray, a tad windy... and officially amidst the village-elders now... pfffff...
You know you've reached adulthood when you start looking forward to coming home from work before you'd even left da house...

Anyhoo, TGIF, looking forward to the w/e... not... (gonna have to feed the GF's family... Sunday lunch :food1:... darn freeloaders... :wine2:)

cheers!

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee @Obo but, no reflection on you, I don't think mirror polishing would be good for your image.

It's 24°F and breezy in Rockville, resulting in a feels-like of half that number. Clouds and breeze are expected, along with a high of 35.

I've been up for over four hours, but no worries because yesterday included long naps. Not sure whether I'm gaining against whatever bug is irritating my system, but there are subtle signs that maybe I am.

Final photos from Vietnam. No need for fancy high tech towing setups on your bike, just do this.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.

good morning all. thank you Obo for the coffee. 43F on the dog walk with a clear sky, lots of stars, bright moon to enjoy as I walked. got gym today and after that a few stops here and there on the way home to pick up some things. with a high of 75F I'm sure I can find something to do or not. enjoy the day.

stay safe

Anyone heard from Nick?

I texted him a while back just to check on him, as he'd already been AWOL for several weeks. All was well but since he's sold his ST other shiny things have crept in to grab his attention.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Obo!
I’m not sure I can see myself hanging out with you lot today! ;)
I have cleaned a lot of dirty mirrors in my day!

37/62F with a freezing cold NE breeze that will have you wanting more clothes to stay warm!
On the road home in a few!
Happy Birthday Martin!
Enjoy your day!

Good morning all, and thanks for the equine brew, Obo.

It's looking like we'll get a mix of sun and clouds today, with temps ranging from -12°C/10°F (f-l -19°C/-2°F) to -7°C/19°F (f-l -15°C/5°F). I'll indulge in a refill of Kicking Horse (that's what's in the pot here too), as I sit here psyching myself up for my next torture session. Only two more procedures to go, once this heals: my regular dentist will make a mold from which the new teeth will be 'manufactured' and once they're ready, he'll put them in. This whole thing has taken the better part of a year, and it isn't over yet. Sheesh.

Have a good one, folks; I hope all those who've been under the weather are feeling better. Stay safe and go safely.

Happy Birthday, Martin!

Patty

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, @Obo.

It's sunny and 19f/-7c in MA this morning, rising to 29f/-2c, later.
Wind will be 15-25mph, with occasional gusts to 40.

I made it to the gym, yesterday, and took the neighbor's dog for a shortish walk down the ice rink that many of our sidewalks have become.

Today, I'll hit the gym, again, and not much more.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, Thanks for the Kicking Horse Obo . Of course I will share, been a while since I have had company over. Out of bed early again 3:45 had omelet and sausage for breakfast, granola cereal to eat at 7 am . Wife's planning to visit a friend who lives out of town aways. So will be unsupervised "Yeah" tonight and most of tomorrow. Visit to drug and grocery store is only things on my agenda. Weather ,one word ,Wet. Still dark outside. Happy birthday Martin cheers,G

Is that the strongest you've got? I'll take what I can get. Thanks Obo. Don't care abt reporting the temp, it's just cold.

Yesterday was awful. Spent almost 8 hours in an airport to fly...nowhere. And I and the missus have to do it again today in hopes of salvaging any of this trip. I dunno what electronic bugs or whatever is plaguing jetblues systems but more than half their flights were delayed, and I heard other airlines were affected too. Ours had two (2!) flight crews time out while trying to deadhead in from Boston. We were finally boarded at 10:15pm only for them to sit at the gate and time out "while doing paperwork" for 45 minutes(?!?). Then they blew sunshine up our bungholes saying they were pulling in a third crew...at midnight. Wasted time and wasted money on bad airport food waiting for them to get their crap together. And today we won't even get to fly to our original airport to have a chance. So, yeah, I'mma need more than a horse's kick to get me out of this mood. Sorry for the vent folks, but this one ranks up there for my worst trips.

Getting home at 2am, I conked out as soon as I hit the pillow. Dreamed I met Jack Black at an airport-like place and was trying to take a selfie, but my phone was malfunctioning. And he had to give up. I rarely dream (that I know of), and remembering them is even more rare. Dunno if I'd call this a silver lining, but at this point I'm not gonna be choosy. Wish us luck today. Remember, coffee prevents murder...especially true today. Take care y'all.

At least you've got your health and your sense of humour?
:well1:

Cold here too, i call it too cold, too.
Thanks for the coffee ☕️ Obo, and thanks jd for reminding me why I don't fly. Think they care? Mmmm? Sorry.
It's Friday, and if I could sing, I'd sing a Friday song or a weekend one. Blackberry Smoke, "Good One Comin' On", comes to mind. I can't sing, but I can listen.
Have a great birthday, Martin! If Sunday's done for, enjoy tomorrow as best you can.
I have that same work dilemma today, too. Can't wait to get back home, and i haven't even left yet.
I was successful burning some excess wood in the fireplace last night, and I could do the same for a month -- especially with our latest 60 footer. If it warms up, I may just run a 2-stroke and make small pieces out of a great big one.
If i wear mine out, I'd like to try the custom saw Argentina's president gave Elon yesterday. Looks like a beast.
I'm not sure how to type a good chainsaw sound, so I'm out of here. Brrrr!
