Friday Café. Help ya'selves.

Morning all, and thanks for the Pepsi, Ray. Ahh, the bubbles tingle.

-6C headed to -2C. The snowmageddon bomb approaches tonight thru tomorrow with anywhere from a foot to two of white gold (that's what the snowmobilers and the plow operators call it.) Who knows what we will really get.

Literally, it's the calm before the storm.

Only 5 more sleeps, unless you tend nap a lot.

Obo.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Ray!
I’m off to the Friday breakfast meeting with the club.
Our membership has declined, there could be a surge in membership next year!
64/78F the NNW breeze is 3-8MPH it’s supposed to be cloudy until late morning.
Almost time to start shopping!
Enjoy your day

Thx Ray!
Dancing coffee…..what’s next?
Shakin bacon perhaps?

Sleep deprived again.
Heavy wind through the night, but calm now.
No damages to the house.

Errands >10… pffffft!

Son comes home tonight, and will stay for ten nights.
Supernice.
And Peter is coming to sleep over for the weekend.

5˚c/41f, calm, overcast.

Have a good one, and remember, babysitters must not drink alcohol.

Good morning, all, and thanks for the brew, Ray!

It's a chilly one: -10°C/14°F with a feels-like of -17°C/1°F, and it's only going to get about one degree warmer. Mix of sun and clouds this morning, changing to full overcast by around noon with a chance of snow from sometime this afternoon to sometime in the wee hours...but so far it only says "40% chance," so we may not get anything.

We have a bucketload of "end-of-year" stuff to submit today, so I'd best get my brain in working order. More coffee, please.
Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely. And take it easy with that high steppin', Big Lad, you don't want to bang your head on the beams.

I can't help it Patts, I'm just effervescing with Christmas joy.
Honest!

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Ray.

It's 27 and cloudy, rising to 31 with some snow predicted, later. They expect that we'll see less than an inch.

I made it to the gym, yesterday, and I'll try to get back today, once Freya wakes up.
Bringing Brenda's car to the shop kind of interrupted my plan to shop for Brenda. The car went into the shop around 8:00, and I walked to the gym and back home. They kept the car till 4:00, so I couldn't go anywhere. It's still not right. The thermostat replacement didn't cure the check engine light, and the mechanic thinks we need a heater core. We'll schedule that after we return from our Christmas vacation.

The counter guys arrived yesterday afternoon, and we now have counter tops, except for the island. The installer found a defect in the panel, and couldn't install it. That should happen today or tomorrow.
The plumber should be here today, to install the water lines for the kitchen and bath. He's also going to install the heat in both rooms.

Have a great day,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee Ray. I'm slow out of the gate this morning so some caffeine is extra-welcome.

It's 34°F and cloudy in Rockville. Light rain is expected between 1300 and 2000 hours, so I'm glad to have gotten the holiday lights strewn about the bushes yesterday when the weather was quite pleasant. We'll have a high around 37, and sunset is scheduled to occur at 1649.

As per usual holiday tradition around these parts, our local fire brigade Santa made the rounds yesterday evening. We could hear the sirens blaring for probably 10-15 minutes before his arrival, as the parade of trucks wound slowly through the neighborhood. Their route takes them past the end of our court twice, and all the neighbors came out to watch and wave. New this year was a unit from Ocean City MD- 3 to 3 1/2 hours away- outfitted with a PA system through which they had seasonal music blaring.

Sorry for the lousy photo quality; my low-end phone camera struggles in low-light conditions.

Not a lot on today's agenda.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.

It's a car conspiracy I tell you!!

If dashboards were easier to get at, including the instrument cluster I anticipate a lot of EML LED's would be poked by a big stick.
After Er'Indoors light being reluctant to go away that might be a viable alternative. But will the vehicle know the light is out and put on another in a vindictive light fest.
I blummin really really dislike EMLs.

Mornin’ y’all. Thanks for the cup, Ray. I’ll need a few more cups before I start dancing.

Clear and 36. That’s as good as it gets for today. Pffftt.

@Whisker Bill That looks like a Post Turtle.

"You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while up there, he's elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of dumb arse put him there to begin with."

Just like a lot of politicians.

Late morning Ray & All from sunny, but with some clouds out there, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 51F, up from 20F and heading for 61F. Not much of a breeze yet, and later, we'll see some winds out of the SW @ 7 to 8mph. It looks like we'll have a couple more days of this unusually warm weather (for December), but after Christmas, it looks like we'll be in the Winter stuff.

I have a new Insurance Agent (the daughter of Chris's friend), looking for some possibilities for better insurance, but I just found out she is in Samoa, right now, visiting her kids! She said she will get back to me later today. Dang, I guess the new world of work, where, now matter where you are, you really don't get a vacation! :(

Due to the weather, I'm going to take the bikes out and do my usual short loop ride. It's usually about 50 miles, or so. I'll take the :bl13: out first and then the :dr13: after lunch.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) later.

Anyone :bl13: :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
