although it's not officially winter yet....

...snowed pretty hard this morning, but the roads were too warm for it to stick, so it melted off pretty quick just leaving the roads damp. They were predicting it to start snowing again with 1" + of accumulation starting at 6 PM, so at 2:00 PM, I got dressed, including my electric jacket liner for the first time this winter, and got out on flat straight State Highways for a 40-miler @ 33 degrees and overcast

Supposed to be in the 50's Sunday and 60's Monday. Got to love Ohio Valley weather. ;)

Low 50s is the threshold of my ride comfort. Add my electric jacket liner and the only thing stopping me is ice on the road. I went out for my first ride of the year at under 60 degrees and it was fantastic. I just love riding.

Me thinks ,will go for the hottest temperature you have ridden! 43 C/ 109F coming through Boston Bar ,in the Fraser Canyon. Coldest many year's ago was -6C/21F without heated gear.

Hottest for me was 113 in Arizona Sept 2003 when my wife and I were touring all the National Parks in Utah and Arizona. I thought the thermometer was broken, but it did feel like a hair dryer blowing on your face.

Coldest so far was -2 a few years ago here in Ohio, while playing in the Cold Ride contest back when they had the below zero club.

And here we go...
