Does anyone know the height from oil pan to valve covers, width valve cover to valve cover, and length?

24 inch wide
22 1/4 H
22 1/4 front to back of oil filter.

Which reminds me that I have a motor in my shop that is FOR SALE.

Almost a ball, perfectly compact and optimal use of available space hahaha

Hey, why not put it on a go cart and really go...? Who needs heat when the adrenaline is flowing.
Years ago, a friend mounted a Hodaka 175 engine in a go-cart.

He also raced a Corvair with a 427 mounted mid-engine later on.

This motor I have would make an EXCELLENT go kart. Just don't let the kids ride it.

Sounds like an opportunity to install a Motus motor.
Funny you should mention that. This morning I was wondering what Motus bike owners do for parts. For example, if you have to remove the exh. headers, can you easily find a new gasket? Did they use standard bearings on the bike or OEM parts? Of course, buying major pieces is impossible, but how about all the little stuff?

I suppose some of the Motus owners are looking at their bikes like collector items which will appreciate in value and they don't ride them, but seriously, if you bought a $30K bike, surely some of those owners ride them.

Are images from Calvin and Hobbes copyrighted? I think that image would make a great sticker for my saddlebags.

Going into a single seat mid engine street car project. I want a LMP style mini car. First set up is going to be street bike engine (ST1300/CTX1300) and UTV front diff. If that works like I want I'll bite the bullet and pick up a Motus V4 and a sequential transaxle. I'm not going to spend 10K on a motor, 7-10K on a transmission, 2k in standalone computer control until chassis geometry is close to safe.

I considered picking up a NP01 from Elan but it is bigger that what I want (and expensive for what I would have to change to suit my goal).

Did you consider a 1300 Hayabusa motor? I understand there are many aftermarket parts available.

Here's one of those Busa cars with a turbo. They were on track before our group from the Rally in the Gorge got a few laps on the track in Grass Valley, OR.

These things flew!
