Last weekend, I took the ST on one of my favourite rides! Up hwy-88 to very end at Fish Hill Overlook.
Stopped off at Tortilla Flat Saloon to check out who's there.
Then I continued past to unused section beyond, 7-miles more of zero traffic since road doesn't go anywhere. Then last 2-miles was glorious DIRT!!!
End of the road.
Used to be 24-miles more of amazing dirt-road all way to Roosevelt Dam.

But landslide caused closure here while they shore up hillside in addition to repairing landslide damage.

Walked to edge of cliff
For nice view of Fish Creek. Coming from Santa Barbara and SF Bay Area with oceans, all this desert is so fascinating!!!
Pose with natives on way back! Need to increase high-speed compression-damping and low-speed rebound. Otherwise, it handled terrain pretty well!
