Hello, I just synchronized the starter valves, etc., and when I attempt to reset the ECU it fails. The kickstand is down, I jumped the green/pink & brown wires in the red service connector using this method, jumped the pins specified, select engine stop switch to the run position, turn on ignition, I see the MIL light solid, I separate the jumper, I do not see any changes to the MIL light, and I attempted to reconnect the jumper, but nothing happens.
Unfortunately without resettling the ECU the bike won’t idle. Please let me know your thoughts to reset the ECU.
THANKS!

What you’re describing/thinking is not correct.
If you did the starter valve sync correctly, the bike should be idling perfectly.
Clearing the codes will not affect that.
Call me and I will walk you through the correct procedure.

... I checked and noticed that 1 of the vacuum lines on the 5 way T had disconnected ...
The typical "overthinking" symptom... ;)

Had a similar incident after checking valve clearances on my GF's NT700VA...
All back together, hitting the button, won't fire...
hmm... it worked before, hence it must be something *I* did... so: off with the tank again...

Bingo, simply forgot/overlooked to re-attach one sensor when installing the throttle body...
