Curious as to how many are still riding STs they bought new. Note that new doesn't necessarily mean 0 miles, i.e. maybe it had a hundred miles or so due to test rides or something like that. I've enable the option to vote more than once depending on how many STs you've owned... I know some of you have owned more than one. ;)

That was quick! ;)

2005 - No, sold it with 174,300 miles on it, to my son in Portland, who is still riding it. It has about 188,000 miles now.
2004 - Yes, bought it wrecked with 31,000 miles on it, rode it for 37,000 miles, has been sitting for last 6 years due to other ST1300s.
2010 - Yes, bought it wrecked with 1,500 miles on it, have put another 98,000 miles on it.
2004 - No, bought it wrecked with maybe 48,000 miles on it. Put just over 50,000 miles on it, then sold it to a good friend, who is still riding it.
2012 - Yes, bought New with 16 (test ride) miles on it, now have 31,000 miles on it.

My website of the stories of my bikes: Bob's ST1300s

I've also have had three other ST1300s in my possession, but I never rode them. One of my other sons took one and has gotten it back on the road!

I bought my 1300 new in 08 and put 110,000 miles on it before I had the rear brake issue that eventually led to it's demise. I'd still be riding it otherwise.

Replaced it with an FJR I bought new and put 38,500 miles on before deciding I was done long distance touring and traded it in on an NC 750X DCT, which I get in a week or so.

Still have my CB 1100 I bought new and have 60,000 miles on it.

Bought my 2001 ST11 used last year.
Out of the 10 bikes I've owned, I've only bought 2 new. A Yamaha YSR 50 and a Honda VTR 1000.

2000 purchased new for $10,800, 40K miles (finally!)
1994 used (price $4,000 in 2013) now with near 44K miles (purchased with 28K).
2004 used (price $3850 last year) had 52K, now at 56K (thats the Colorado bike shared with my brother)

all the bikes I’ve owned (all Hondas by the way) total $14,200:

1985 V30 Magna: paid $1095 in 1989 with 7K miles on it, sold 15K miles later for $1000, so 15K miles for $95!
1991 Nighthawk 750: paid $4100 (new), traded for the 2000 ST for $2600 (only had 6700 miles when traded)

First year '91 1100 bought new and shares the garage with my new-to-me '12 1300. Both black - bookends of the model line.

Since the 1300 arrived I've pulled the 1100 out for a ride every month or so just to keep it limber. It'll break 90k mi this season.

bought my '97 in Oct of '97 with 1400 miles on it, so it wasn't technically new, but close enough. The PO bought it new in Aug, and only owned it for 2 months before deciding it wasn't what he wanted.

I’m interested to hear when you get the NC750X and how you like it!

Haven't voted -- two different questions are asked, but only one Yes / No response per vote.
What if the answer is Yes to the first question, but No to the second?
Or vice versa?
I bought my 2008 1300 15 months ago, so hell yeah I'm still riding it. :D

Sorry for the confusion. It's one question... with the "and", both conditions must be satisfied for a Yes.

I bought the ST1300 2006 used, with only 6k miles. STill running like new at 152,000 Smiles
The ST1300 2012 I bought new, old stock but put on 3,000 Smiles to make sure all was good before hiding in my garage waiting for the 2006 to retire ... Ha Ha!
Only done usual fluids and filters, tires, brake pads, fork seals, battery, and wheel bearings. The 2006 sits outside in the sun and rain ready for the daily 80++ mile commute.

No and No.

2005 ST1300 bought 2/4/06 with 1820 miles. Advertised as a demo I was the first titled owner - the Honda shop owner took it for a long ride prior to placing on the showroom floor. Doesn’t sound right but I bought a new bike with 1820 miles. Sold May 2018 at 179,xxx miles. The buyer has about 205,000 on it now.

Dont bogart those bikes my friend!!!!!

Bought my '05 new and watched them uncrate and set it up. I would possibly still be riding if it hadn't developed the unsolvable misfire problem.
