Does anyone know a cheap way to stay overnight near n orleans. Will b there tomorrow and hate the thought od spending the big bucks.

Lodging
Best Western Plus New Orleans Airport Hotel
$66 for tomorrow night

Contempra Inn Kenner $55 for tomorrow night

Rodeway Inn Kenner $66

Best Western Plus New Orleans Airport Hotel $85 for tomorrow night

Holiday Inn Express Downtown French quarter $85 for tomorrow night if you want the tourist destination

Hope those help. I work down there a lot and anything around the airport is pretty easy for on/off I10. The HIX in the quarter shown is really not that close to Bourbon Street or anything really. About six blocks from Harrah's Casino if you feel inclined to go and pay for your trip plus retirement........or not!

If you stay in New Orleans proper they will add mucho taxes and fees. I didn't have enough lines on my expense report to show all of them.
