I have combed the posts and see 1" risers fit on ABS equipped bikes without changing any cables/hoses, and even higher fit on non ABS bikes.
Can anyone confirm 2" rise fits with stock cables/hoses on an ABS bike?
I am trying to get more touring than sport and might be able to get away with 1" but think 2" might be better. I do like upright seating these days! I also prefer not changing cables/hoses and dont care if I lose the shroud. Any recommendations appreciated.

It should work, but you might need to reroute the cables/hoses.

I put 1" on mine . Thats about it all I could get without poping lines out of the clamps - The clutch line was the first that got -to short - on mine .

On my '98 ABSII, I have 2 inch Rox risers. I rerouted the brake hose from the front master cylinder, and while I was able turn the handlebars from stop to stop, I was uncomfortable with the amount of tension on the brake line. I ended up replacing the brake line with a longer one.

Just remember, if you need a longer brake line you can buy the top brake line from a standard model and you will have enough to run 4" risers.

Tested on a '97 ABS II with Ron Major 4" risers, only had to reroute some cables and add the standard brake line. Worked great for 53K miles...

All of my lines are behind the upper triple clamp now.

Is there an easy way to distinguish between OEM and aftermarket hoses and cables?

Non-ABS here, but my throttle cables bound up at full left lock with 1.1" risers. Both were routed outside of the air filter housing. Routing them underneath the housing fixed that issue.

I tried the 1.1" and didn't like them. Seems like a tiny amount, but it changed the feel too much. I went with a clamp flip and that is just perfect.

We're all made a bit different so experiment with it.

UPDATE: I first tried 30mm risers off Amazon for $30. They worked fine with cables but looked a bit like a hack because they are not the same diameter as the stock clamps. Since I wanted a bit more rise, I ordered 2" Rox risers. My brake line is a tiny bit too short after re routing to the front of the triple clamp. I could probably get the last 1/2" I need by rotating the end on the ABS module but they are indexed and not sure if I can change the position. Probably will buy a longer brake line. Also, have to take the fairing off to get at it.
Oh well, nothing like a good bike project!
