Amarillo has finally been declared a real city now that our Buc-ees has opened. Pulled in yesterday to see about their gas prices and found this. Hope it stays this way!
First time the FJR ever got above regular. Haven't seen 93 octane around here either unless at the Sunoco racing fuel station where some of that stuff is $10 a gallon.

It's a zoo right now. They share the exit with another truck stop, Travelers info center, and access to the airport. Highly suggest you give yourself more time to catch that flight. We shall see how many other businesses pop up around this thing. I remember when the Bucc-ees went in by Texas Motor Speedway. Nothing around it when new but now it is a pain in the backside just getting in and out of that one. Mini centers, outlet mall, and eatery's have made that one a place to avoid.

If you are trying to make time on a bike or cage don't stop at Bucc-ees.

I doubt that dime more for ol' Ethyl will last. I did the Gas Buddy app for the Bucee's 30 miles west. Regular is $2.49 mid is $2.79 and Premium is $3.09. 60 cents more for Ethyl which is the norm around here. The Walmart market a mile away is reg. 2.67 mid 2.97 and 3.17 for the Premium.

I saw the managers/security office in a Bucc-ees once. They have cameras viewing the store and surrounding parking . Not much goes on that they cannot see with makes a safe place to stop. Plus no 18 wheeler traffic and riff raff to deal with.

I live in Pampa, so close. ALL of the Pak a Sak convenience stores in the Panhandle area have 93 octane available. I wish they had 93 non ethanol, but at least it's 93.

Yeah, they're pretty proud of those stalls, but I'll admit they keep 'em clean in Alabama at least.

I like that large fueling facility because it's one of the few places to buy non-ethanol in my area.

Makes feel like I'm doing something nice for my ICEs from time to time. Maybe it's all just misinformation, or urban legend, but there's no reason to rain on my mind parade.

I do know that my 2-stroke yard motors like it, and they reward me by starting after a season of non-use. Mostly.

The ones in Alabama do; as they are a franchise, it would surprise me to learn there are some that don't.
And as they are primarily in Texas and the South, we don't have restrictions imposed by state law, or at least pure gas is not outlawed.

I've seen plenty of riff-raff in cages, and even some on 2 wheels!
And....around here.....regular gas is 87 octane, not 86.
Never been to a bucees.....can't think I'm missing a whole lot.

I finally stopped in the first Buc-ee's ever this past April on my way back from seeing the total solar eclipse.( I drove my cage with a passenger from my Bible study class the 1100 mile round-trip to make sure we were in the middle of the path of totality).

I thought they had good gas prices and with over 100 fuel pumps I did not have to wait in line to get gas but I had to wait in a very long line to check out with my purchases from inside the store (food).

YES, that sandwich was delicious. It was loaded with premium meat and high-quality cheese. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten --but then again it should be, because it cost something like $13 --just for the sandwich not a meal .

Not all that many non-ethanol places near me so I'll drop into a Buc-ees to get it. I've never been inside one, I can't remember the last gas station I have been inside... lol Unless there's a Subway inside.. ha!

The wide availability of EV charging stations at Buc-ees across TX and the south doesn’t turn you off?
