Does anyone have airwings installed on their ST, my inner thighs can't take the heat anymore. Are there any other brands or homemade deflectors which might do the trick?

The Hondaline fairing air deflectors do a pretty decent job at keeping the heat away from my legs, much better than before they were installed.

Look at some of the threads a few before this one. There is a thread with several responses about these.

Here are pictures on my homemade deflectors:

Very interesting! Exactly what I was thinking about.
Now I just need to find some or make a set of my own.
I guess I should ask how they work? Does the deflector pull the motor heat in? I made a test wind wing yesterday and put it too low and it just pulled in the motor heat. Luckly I put it on with 90 mph tape so no big deal.
Hint where did the tinted plastic come from?

This is what I had made for me from Marcel July's shield company.

At OntSTOC there was a guy that hd some brackets made that he mounted the Baker wings to the worked real nic I will have to dig out the pictures I took and post them.

I'm not sure about Air Wings on an ST, but I have them on my Gold Wing, and they are very good at air management. On my Wing, they work so well, it seems I'm in a cage.

What heat?

Seriously, I replaced the OEM exhausts with an aftermarket variety and that ended the "excessive heat" conversation on the spot. The problem with the OEM exhaust is that the catalytic converters burn at temps just slightly hotter than the surface of the sun and you feel it all the way through the system.

If you live in an area with emissions testing, this will not be something you want to consider.
