Well i can't find any threads on air chucks just air gauges. Seems like most air chucks are a pain to get in and add air to your tires. Just picked up a 90 degree air chuck from napa $8, and works great. Will work better when i pick up a air gauge that adds air (the tool with the red hose) Thought this might help someone.

I have one of those from snapon but it has a straight end I found on the rear tire I can go thru the brake rotor and the inside of the rim and ad air easy. I think that chuck would make it easier Thanks for sharing.

I never realized they made a chuck with a 90? head on it like that. I'm going to have to pick one up.

Stopped at NAPA today but the only 90 degree air chuck they had was $54!! Do you have the part #? Maybe there is more than one. Thanks. Russ.

Valve/gauge/chuck combos like that (mostly made by Milton) run about $50, but they'll be the last one you ever buy.

It was $54 just for the chuck. (I'd have to call it Charles at that price!:D)

90d chuck I like , but cost over-rode and I use the cheap 1" one at home.
As to fitting another's air chuck, it doesn't matter as I carry a Check - a- spare.

I have a combination of what's already been mentioned. I use the Sears 360 degree adapter, with a short, one-inch 90-degree chuck. Works great on rear tires like the ST's (which have both a big disk on one side, a final drive pumpkin on the other and hardbags adding to the lack of workroom. I can literally feel my way to the air valve without seeing it. And works just as well on dirt tires, car tires, etc.

I use a CyclePump, or should I say "used to use a CyclePump", I could never get a consistent purchase with the spring loaded chuck, so now I use a Slime piece of kit that's designed for trucks. It has a screw-on chuck - that's very handy - on the end of a green spiral hose. However, it's a little too big to take on the road for my liking. I like the size and performance of the CyclePump and wondered if anyone has figured out a better chuck for the CyclePump? Most of the easily available chucks that I've tried on the CyclePump are 1/4 inch and don't seem to work very well. I like to have my own air & repair with me when I'm on a multi-day trip.

BTW I'm getting angled valve stems the next time I change my tires.
