Ride to Camp, Prequel to ONSToc
This will be a rolling event, camping in a new location every night for 4 nights prior to ONSToc
Day one Sunday Aug. 31. Arrive at the ChiCheeman ferry terminal in Tobermory in time for the 1:30PM ferry crossing arriving in South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island around 3:30 PM proceeding from there to Providence Bay campground
Day Two. Monday Sept. 1st. Depart Providence Bay heading north to Little current stopping for ice crèam prior to crossing on the swing bridge to the mainland. Taking Hwy 6 North through “Rainbow Country” (Television show popular in the 70’s) to Espanola. Then taking the Lee Valley road along the Spanish river towards Massey. Then onto the TransCanada hwy 17 towards Elliot Lake. Stopping for fuel and groceries before starting on the Deer trail to Missisaugi Provincial Park
Day Three Tuesday Sept. 2nd Continuing on the Deer trail stopping at lookouts and the little White River bridge for photo ops. Exiting the deer trail onto 129 north to Chapleau. Then onto 101 into Wawa for food and fuel stopping at the goose for photos then south on hwy 17 to Lake Superior Provincial Park
Day Four:Wednesday Sept. 3rd. South on 17 following the coastline of Lake Superior stopping at lookouts for photo ops. Stopping at Batchewana Bay for Cinnamin buns. Turning on hwy 638 From Echo Bay to Bruce Mines back on 17 to Thessalon taking the bottom half of 129 north then 538 south to Iron Bridge. Back onto 17 alongside the Missaussagi River to Massey staying at Chutes Provincial Park
Day Five: Thursday Sept. 4th Head to Parry Sound for Three days of Fun at ONSToc.
