2010 R1200RT oil options

Greetings. I own a 2010 R1200RT with 17K, and had a major service at 12K. The shop went with15w50 synthetic Liqui Moly. Any thoughts on another option for So Cal? I live near the ocean and the temp ranges from the 40's to 100+ fahrenheit if I ride towards the desert. Most time is spent between 50 and 90 degrees F.

Synthetic 10w40 or 20w50 or 15w50. Look in your owners manual if you have one.

Pretty sure those are the options listed in the owners manual but 15w50 will cover all riding conditions on that series RT. Great bike those oil head RTs. I like them better than the new ones.

Not a wet clutch, so many oil choices. Many on a BMW site use Rotella 15/40 and so do I.

Just as long as it's a petraluminum base oil it's fine.
