This bike starts and runs but has stalled when warmed up and is difficult to restart. All the radiator hoses, thermostat, O-rings and carb boots were replaced in March 2024.

We’re selling our house in Hemet, California and the bike can’t go back to Canada with us.

Extras: Spare custom seat, 20 liter Bestem top case, 1” handlebar risers, wiring and platform for Escort radar detector.

We bought this in 2009 with 5,871 miles. All maintenance records since purchased. Photos and maintenance records available upon request. It's the bike on the left in the photos below.

I plan to advertise this locally early next week, but thought I’d offer to board members first. Let me know if you’re interested.

The vacuum valve bypass has been done. I reassembled the bike and probably missed a step in the process, but I've run out of time to diagnose the problem.

I took it for a 14 mile run on the parkway and it ran at 75 mph no problem, but on my way back home, it stalled at a stoplight. Fortunately, it was a long light and I got it restarted then brought it home with high RPM and feathering the clutch. The left maintenance cover is missing as some idiot forgot to put the bolts in before the test ride, but I have a spare on one of my bikes in Canada that I will ship this to the new owner.

I've passed your "Hi" on to Deb and she says "Hello" back, Raouf. It has been too long since we have met up. Hopefully, the future will give us a chance to ride together again.

Ordinarily, I'd jump at the chance to ride the bike up to deliver it to Sacramento, but we are running out of time before we have to head to Canada. We plan to get the essentials from 14 years of home ownership here in Hemet into a 5 x 8 U-Haul trailer and Deb has indicated that she isn't willing to drive the car and trailer while I ride the bike. One way or another, the bike will have a new owner before we leave in just over 2 weeks.

I'm sad to see it go as Don Cortez did the initial test ride on it for me when I bought it from a member of the board with under 6,000 miles on it in 2009. I picked it up from Don's in Coarsegold then imported it to Canada, but ended up re-registering it in California in 2011 after we bought this house. Sometimes, I just have to learn to let go and this appears to be one of those times.

Wow that is great STOC history right there. Very sad to see this. Good luck with the journey home. Until we meet again!
