Whelp this isn't sport touring related but what can it hurt to try. The bike is an Anniversary edition SE with what I assume all the bells and whistles. It belongs to my old friend, Gary (PITA), and when his health got worse he bought a used Hannigan Astro sidecar in about 2019 and had that sent to my house. I went through the car and frame and brought that up to road worthy condition. It didn't have the bike specific mounts so he had Hannigan fabricate the mounting kit along with a new sidecar master cylinder and the modified triple tree. All in all an additional $2400 spent. I was the one to install the sidecar to the bike with the help of some good manuals and online info. I'm not a professional installer but a retired auto technician of 45 years. After all the blood, sweat, tears and money the bike does drive well. Unfortunately Gary has only put about 250 miles on it since then and now can't use it at all. I've been the one maintaining it and most recently I cleaned and resealed the carbs, the fork seals were changed a couple years ago. Tires are 6 years old but only 250 miles on them.
If anyone is interested or knows someone looking for something like this feel free to send me a note. Gary seems to think It should bring $5000 but I think any reasonable offer would be better than it taking up space in my garage. The last couple of things not finished with the car would painting it to match and installing carpet and fabric to the cockpit of the car.
I did have someone interested through Facebook but they live in Romania! Oh well.
