11/3 Mini Adventures

it was sunny, windy, and 58f when i left home, my only plan was to ride out to Rouge park an take some pic's. the ride is easy enough, leave home make a right on Tireman and a few miles later you are there

they have a model plane airstrip in the park too

on my way to the park i noticed that my mirror was off and i couldn't adjust it so i headed home. a few blocks from the house in Dearborn i remember there being a small park, i only went there a few time with much older white friends, Dearborn was very raciest back then. the park was still there and it was a little larger than i remember but the train crossing caught my eye

once home i got the mirror adjusted and put the 6" adjustable wrench in my pocket then topped of the tank then headed east. i thought about going to the Eastern Market for Lions tail gating but the wind was very gusty going east so i made a stop and chatted with a few guys at the Grand River Skate park, most seem to like the IceBear

took these pic's in and around the Lincoln Street Art Park, i caught the train going by

i decided to head home but at Grand River and 16th i spotted this old mural

being so close i decided to get a pic of Abe for a " same spot different bike " pic

i headed back to Mcgraw and started heading home from there and made a stop on the Warren street end of the JLGW, nothing new to report

i headed north on the JLGW then took Belton back across Shafer to get home, 57km total

took these pic's in and around the Lincoln Street Art Park, i caught the train going by

I'm all in for art and such, but I start to get a problem with the omnipresent wall-smears these days...

the worst are those "gang territory" marks...

Imagine your house, entrance or panel van/truck gets hit...
