11/05 Ride

i got on the road about 06:30 today, it was 67f and still very windy. it was too early to go vote so i decided to take Tireman east then picked up West Grand BLV. i took M-1 north and crossed 8 mile road hit a turn-a-round and headed south. on my way back i spotted this mural near 7 mile

still heading south on M-1 it was a little before 07:00 and i found these in Highland Park, Mi

i made it back to Bethune and stopped for my last mural pic in the Motor City

back tracking on W. Grand Blv and Tireman i made it to Wyoming then headed north. at Oakman i made a right turn then pulled in the church parking lot then went and did my civic duty

i thought about riding over to M-14 and heading west but a cruise through Hines Park sounded better so i made my way over to Joy road and took it west to Spinoza street, picked up Tireman then hung a left on Outer Drive. at Hines drive i made a right. i was down around Nankin Mills when i took these pic's

about three miles west of Nankin Mills i stopped for more pic's

i took Hines Drive to 7 mile, that's where it ends then took 7 mile down to Pontiac Trail. they put a round about there. i took Pontiac Trail north to 9 Mile and made a left. 9 Mile turns into M-36 west of us-23. my next stop was in Gregory, Mi

in Gregory i picked up M-106, i was Jackson bound !! the temp was a bit cooler than back in the city so i put another layer of clothing under my jacket. i thought it might rain i had sun to my east and clouds rolling in from the west. there were a few damp spots here and there on the road but it didn't even sprinkle on me on my ride to Jackson. once in town i took MLK street downtown for a few pic's

that ended picture taking for awhile, i was ready to head home. i got myself on Michigan Ave. and took it east to Fox road, it ends at old us-12. i took 12 east passing through Grass Lake, and Chelsie before making it to Ann Arbor. i picked up m-17 in Ypsilanti and took it to ( new ? ) us-12. at greenfield i made a left. at Tireman i stopped at Fire Pizza for Taco Tuesday. i took Tireman back to Shafer and home, 266 miles today. i wonder if i can make 100,000 miles before it gets too cold
