1300 valves

Here are the video links. There are four segments. 1. Valve clearance check, 2. Left side shim change part 1 of 2, 3. Left side shim change part 2 of 2, and 4. Getting to the right side cam tension screw. The first three videos are about 10 minutes each. The fourth video is 6 minutes.

While performing the 48,000 mile valve check, I discovered one valve out of tolerance on the left side of the bike. Data from the prior two checks indicated the valve was moving tighter at a rate of 0.01/mm per 16,000 miles...and yes, it had moved out of spec by the time the 48,000 mile check...

I made up this worksheet to help me keep my valve clearances straight. The idea is to record the actual valve clearance in the little white box for each valve. Also at the bottom is a real quick review on the procedure. Here is what it looks like (low res) And here is a link...
