Happy Birthday, jfheath

Many thanks for the birthday greetings. Had a great day with family. No bike today. But a birthday cake and two candles - 1 candle for each digit of my age. One of them was a 'one'.

Hagis haven't managed to migrate from Scotland to Yorkshire @ST1100Y - but I often get midge bitten in my garage - having once hung my wet tent in there to dry having been touring and camping in Scotland. I must have carried a swarm down inside the flysheet. Got rid of most of them, but one or two still get me.

I once saw a grey cloud of across a camp site. I wondered what it was, especially as it seemed to be getting closer. It seemed to be ignoring everyone else and heading straight for me. Midges. And yes - heading straight for me. I carry a midge hood in my bike jacket pocket.

So you've imported an invasive species...
Like me (0 neg) you must have a rare blood-type... ;)
I too have gotten me a midge-hood large enough to fit over my (open) Neotec, fortunately never needed as there was always some wind, or too cold, or we're on the move up there...
