Friday Feb 21st coffee

Good morning all, and thanks for the equine brew, Obo.

It's looking like we'll get a mix of sun and clouds today, with temps ranging from -12°C/10°F (f-l -19°C/-2°F) to -7°C/19°F (f-l -15°C/5°F). I'll indulge in a refill of Kicking Horse (that's what's in the pot here too), as I sit here psyching myself up for my next torture session. Only two more procedures to go, once this heals: my regular dentist will make a mold from which the new teeth will be 'manufactured' and once they're ready, he'll put them in. This whole thing has taken the better part of a year, and it isn't over yet. Sheesh.

Have a good one, folks; I hope all those who've been under the weather are feeling better. Stay safe and go safely.

Happy Birthday, Martin!

Patty
Patty, sounds like you have been undergoing the whole tooth replacement routine. My wife finally had to go that route. Both uppers and lowers. Very long and expensive process! Lots of soups and spaghetti-o's by the case. Another way to put your money where your mouth is. She's very happy with it now that it's all done.

Morning Obo & All, from sunny with some clouds, in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 34F, up from 25F and heading for 49F. A slight breeze, and later the winds will be coming form the N @10 to 16 mph.

Happy Birthday Martin ( @ST1100Y ) ! :hat3:

I'm still going through parts, I found a starter and alternator to use, and I'll be looking through the coolant lines bin today. Then I'll have to order what I need.

Chris made us some pancakes, and I washed them down with OJ. Pepsi(s) on for later.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Morning all! Grey and wet again. 5C right now, 8C to come.

Currently in the waiting room at the local hospital. Woke up during the night unable to breathe so figured it might be time to get the lungs checked out. I expect they may give me an inhaler and send me on my way. Stupid spasming bronchioles…..

Obo, mirror issues can certainly be a pain in the glass.

Hope everyone has a great day!

At least you've got your health and your sense of humour?
:well1:
Considering many of the other posts here today, yes I am fortunate I have those, and no blood spilled.

We are on our way, finally. Pilots still took forever with their "paperwork" so took off a hour late, but we're en route. We'll just have to cram 2 days worth of MIL visit into 1-1/2. Between y'all and me, I'm not too upset over that. She can be, ah, difficult to deal with at times...well, most times. Okay, all the time. It's why I usually busy myself with honey-dos while I'm there. Wish me luck and take care y'all!

Turns out it may just the vestiges of the Covid I had towards the end of January. According to the doctor, the periods of being unable to breathe are short enough to be insignificant. Would hate to see what he considers significant......
"Being unable to breathe is insignificant if only for short periods".
Have you ever considered changing your doctor......just saying.

There's a shortage of family doctors in BC and we haven't been able to find one yet. The only alternative is the ER and it's dealer's choice there. I considered choking him for a short period to see if he wanted to change his professional opinion but then there's paper work and "justice" system to deal with. It seemed prudent to simply stare at him witheringly. I think I saw a slight wilt in him and a bit of a defeated look creep into his eyes...he knows he's a lesser man for it
