Suites Las Palmas 4.4 star Hotel just 6.7 miles away and only 600 Pesos a night.

Did that and through the Park yesterday. Weather, as always in the desert, hot and cold. Rio Grande virtually dries up and disappears…

Nope, they actually assigned us 2 spots although we only used 1. I still prefer Presidio for it's near amenities but all the Topango spots now have shade awnings.

That is nice... shade is a necessity there...curious of the border patrol was more active given the last couple of years of activity.

Nope, never saw any LEO, even through the park, other than one lonely BP checkpoint on 385 leaving the park. Even the park entry gates were unmanned.
